St. Patrick's Day

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day. The day before Chloe came up with the idea of making traps for the Leprechauns. We did a little brainstorming and with some creative thinking from Aunt Brooke this is what we came up with. We turned shoe boxes into traps. The kids loved making them. Chloe even brought hers to school to show her class. We set them up the night before with some money attached to a string so when they took the money the stick would fall and trap the Leprechaun inside. Well, you know they are tricky little guys and they took all the money except for the one attached to the string and left candy in its place. They also left us their "treasure"all over our house for the kids to find. Chloe was VERY upset that we didn't catch any Leprechauns. We also had green pancakes and milk for breakfast. It was a fun day!

We thought we could trick them with our money

This is what we found in place of the money...no leprechaun

I love the trap! It turned out pretty good! What in the world even made him think about making one? You are so crafty! I hope I can be like that with my kids.
